3rd Annual Kids Safety Fair

Mercantile Bank hosted their third annual Kids Safety Fair in Quincy's Washington Park in September. Over 200 Quincy 3rd grade students from 6 public and parochial schools attended the half-day fair. Students attended safety presentations hosted by the Quincy Fire Department, Quincy Police Department, Adams County Safe Kids Coalition and Adams County 911.

Above, students, along with Mercantile's Ted Awerkamp, learn about bicycle safety from QPD Officer Tim Bichsel, while another group learns about firefighting equipment from QFD Firefighter Chris George.
